Ask around, anywhere on the web, and I am sure you will find that if anyone is using this method, they are achieving a POOR success rate at best. The people that I know that are having success breeding pumilio are allowing the parents to raise them. To feed pumilio tads any type of alternative food is very tedious work and requires much attention. I applaud the efforts of anyone attempting to discover an alternative food for the tads. God Bless who ever figures out an alternative method. I will leave it to mother nature.
