If you were to ask this question on some sites you'd get your head ripped off. But in my opinion, it depends. I would not mix species that were able to interbreed. ie don't mix leucs and auratus or azurs and tincs, or any of the intermedius gorup. Now, with that being said I have kept tincs and vents together in a 110 gal x high. There were 4 tincs and 7 vents. Both species bred and lived happy together. The tincs stayed on the floor, and the vents climbed all over the back wall. I monitored them closely, and there were no signs of stress in any of the frogs. Some folks may disagree, but thats my take.
