Default my mix

Wow, ya this is prob the most controversial thing in viv design is the substrate and drainage. I have been using cocco with some cocco chunks, spagh moss, and top soil. If you use top soil make sure it doesnt have any cow poop or chemical fertilizers. My subtrate mixing ratio is 75% cocco bedding, 5% cocco chunks,10%spagh moss, and 10% top soil. This is just one of many substrate mixes out there. If i was you i would do some research and find one that you like the most and fits your budget.Drainage can be Hydroponic hydroton or simple river rocks. The hydroton is better for plant growth as it is made of carbon and doesnt grow heavy bacteria like some other drainage products do. GL and i hope this helps
