Ya i chose t5 HO. I am using some t8's and they work good so far. I used to be into the saltwater reefs and i really don't want to spend a ton of cash on just my lighting. I still have a 48" Coralife PC fixture, but like you said Marc,spectrum is good but heat is to much.
