Wuz up groki21! and welcome to DFF. According to my short time in owning poison dart frogs I recommend and most will probably agree with me that the Dendrobates auratus, Dendrobates leucomelas( I own 2 of these great frogs!!), and Dendrobates azureus are great starter dart frogs. They are the most common and easier to care for dart frogs.

A rule of thumb that I learned is 1 frog for every five gallons but there is always other factors to go along with this for example how many males to females or mixing species which a more experienced frogger can explain.

And finally about mixing anoles I will again leave that to a more experienced frogger to answer hopefully. They have helped me here when I started and hope they will do the same for you. Hope my little feedback helps and good luck.
