Hey guys one of the tricks I used to seal the hinged front glass piece from fruit fly escape was to cut airline tubing lengthwise on only one side (like insulation tubing for pipes). I then placed it on the sides of the glass. I just taped the outer surface of the vent to prevent flies escaping from the vents.
