I dunno Marc, The GS I use sticks very well to glass. If I make a mistake I have to use razor blade to remove from glass. I use 2 types of GS one with a yellow can and the other is a baby blue can. Both have stuck to glass great for me. I actually have had more problems with it sticking to Silicone. One piece of advice, when the gs seams dry, it really isn't. It takes a straight 48 hours for it to completely cure.So if you wait 3 hours and poke it and its hard, just remember If you tend to trim or carve the GS it may bow or suck itself in. Example" Say you cut a piece of GS because it expanded to a size you don't lik , So you carve and hit a soft spot where GS is still curing. It will start to shoot out of the dry GS and make a big mess.I have encountered this a couple times and can be a real pain the butt. Also if you cant find GS then the DAP insulation foam will work as well.
