I am a firm believer in you can say whatever you want (within reason) as long as you "back it up" with an educated response and not just an opinion. That's healthy discussion.

Unfortunately I have seen that system before the one I suggested earlier. It was disastrous. People were leaving fake messages and feedback and it was a bigger mess than what it was worth. Someone even tried to pull some sh@t on me and my operation on feeder insects. It was bad. The system I suggested is person to person and anonymous. The higher the rep and more green boxes the better. Bad comments and rep points without explanation is bad in my opinion but it all seen as three colors red, purple, and green. If I get bad rep points than it was for a reason hopefully and if I have a real problem with it I will go to a moderator. There is a least fail safes involved rather than giving complete control to say at will. It will cause my problems than what's needed but I am just one voice and leaders and what you say rules. LOL PS: I need to look at their system a little better to comment more. I have used it but I am too tired to look now.

I think a reputation would be great only if the moderaters and the administrators screened the good and bad rep because I can go on that forum right now and for the heck of it give everyone including the administrator a bad rep. Which I don't because if they did really deserve it then they would certainly get it. Funny thing is that the ones that gave me bad rep were newbies not the experienced frogger. Just my 2 cents.
Now it is unfortunate that you had this happen to you. All I am saying is that maybe there should be mods that look that over and not do anything else unless needed to make sure that isn't an issue. I do not know all the ins and outs of the programming so I couldn't tell you much but I do know that the admin/mods have the power to revoke any issue and restore points or take them away. I love to have that job. People piss me off like that who get power real quick and no real knowledge (I would assume you could put a probation period on that or certain number of posts before they can get green rep points but I don't know.), but there's just not enough people who want to step up to the plate to do this, not enough time in the day for people to monitor tons of posts etc, but if you have two people have the power to look over the system to make sure that they are all valid, then the system I believe can work.
