Well I have done java moss and ricca before but thats in a planted aquarium. I think java moss is more forgiving then ricca as far as having it always being wet. I know that java moss tend to do better if they have something to hold on too like drift wood or some kind of ornament. Ricca never seen it out of water before but when I had my planted tank it needed alot of light and CO2.
