The source I got this information from doesn't know the name of the company but he knows what region they are from (Norwegian/Netherlands area). He has some awesome ties that I wish I had, but I don't ask to many questions. I just take what I hear. Soooo my fingers are crossed pretty hard here as well.

Ya that will be cool if they are successful. I am sure it will aid in the conservation of these beautiful frogs.

Hey Sam,

Re: feeding chicken egg yolk. Although it was mentioned , there are not many folks that practice it. Ask around, anywhere on the web, and I am sure you will find that if anyone is using this method, they are achieving a POOR success rate at best. The people that I know that are having success breeding pumilio are allowing the parents to raise them. To feed pumilio tads any type of alternative food is very tedious work and requires much attention. I applaud the efforts of anyone attempting to discover an alternative food for the tads. God Bless who ever figures out an alternative method. I will leave it to mother nature.

Yeah that egg yolk method doesn't give the essential nutrients that a parent would give.... Also in many case if not all the froglets have SLS..... Also to add people are actually using fish egg methods but I do agree with Marc that it's best to leave them be with their parents... And if you do manage to rear the tads they say it takes like 6 months to morph out never mind that.....

Ya I wouldn't try to raise an egg feeder.I would rather leave it to the pros(parents).
