Does anyone here have any good tips on breeding and inducing breeding in bastimentos?

Higher humidity and slightly higher temps....75F or possibly a little higher daytime, and not too much drop at night......works for me.

Feed heavy. Nothing special actually.

I have a few pairs at 1.1 but some keep 1.2 with good results.

Ok thanks, thats what I have been doing. The male calls all day but the female seems to just keep going about her own buisness. I think they had a small clutch a couple weeks ago but I havn't seen any lately. I could havemistaken it for something else beings it was in a hard area t see.

Lots of broms.....I use 3-4 of varied sizes in each viv.

Sometimes the egg clutches are hard to see in the full light / daytime.

A trick I stumbled across is to use a small penlight and look for eggs at night when it's dark.....the eggs show up better as they shine. Much easier to detect.

You tank looks great. It seems to be set up fine. Mine is similar. Lots of broms and film canisters. I also put a few 1/2 oz deli cups. Sometimes it just takes a while to get them going. I have pair of gold dust bastis where the male calls all the time too. And i stil have not got anything. I cannot remember now, but I recently read somewhere that someone had a pair of pums and it took them almost a year to breed, and he didn't change anything. They just started doing their thing one day. That just goes to show you that they are really running the show.
Guess you just gotta hang in there.
I do have a suggestion tho, try taking the female out and keeping her separate for a few weeks. Feed her up and get her nice and fat. Then put her back in with the male. See if that works.

I am having issues also with my Azureus breeding , I may try removing her and then reintroducing her.
