I wish I could wait for the reptile show but I cant. So ill just have to do it the hard way and dry it out. Does the oven thing work with the coco fiber? Putting it in a big pan spread out then bake it a certain "Degree?"

I have never tried the oven but i think it would be ok. Just make sure to not catch your house on fire . I usually just lay it out on a trash bag and put it in the sun. I also put a fan on it and every hour or so mix the coco up so it will dry faster.

Coco Soft Fiber 10 Quarts

Here is the dried stuff I was talking about. LLL sells it in 3 or 4 different sized bags. It's just a ton easier than drying that crap! Too hot in the oven and your house smells up and you could have a fire, too cool and it takes 8 hours. I don't like to leave it outside in case any nasties get in it while it's out. Pincher bugs, spiders, weed seeds, all that stuff can hitch a ride into your viv. Either way works, It'll look the same just some ways require more work than others.
Have fun and take lots of pics!

Ya I should have made it clearer. I dry my coco fiber in my house but its in the sun. Like BrianD says if you dry it outside you can get little "nasties". Getting bugs can really be a bummer. In my recent posts i had snails and they were eating my frogs eggs so i had to completely make over the tank.
