The 67k and 65k bulbs are both good for growing plants. Herptologists are studying wether or not frogs have any benefit from uv lighting. Thus far UV is not needed or reccomended.Hope this helps

Awesome. I have a T5 lighting system for my freshwater tank so I wont have to get new lighting.
one thing just got checked off my check list. lol The system I have has 2 lights in it which is why i was wondering about the UV but I will just do 2 65k bulbs that I have in it now. bulbs are only 3 weeks old. |

Yeah, the lighting is not as important to the frogs as it is to the plants. I currently have UC's on most of my tank, but my electric bill is really suffering, plus the heat output is super high. T5s are a great choice.
