I'm working on my Girl Scout Gold Award (as is probably self-evident), which is about improving the lives of domestic frogs. Part of what I'm doing is collecting information on undiagnosable frog diseases from frog owners, which I'll put into an online database. THIS WOULD NOT BE REAL MEDICAL RESEARCH AND IS NOT INTENDED TO BE; IT WOULD NOT BE ANY SUBSTITUTE FOR VETERINARY CARE. However, the vets I've discussed this with think it could still be a useful resource, since there are frog diseases that haven't been identified or studied yet.
If your frog has had any unidentifiable diseases, could you please tell me what the symptoms were, what treatments you tried, and whether any of them worked? I'll do basic fact-checking on the entries, sort them, and compare similar ones to see if there are any trends in which treatments are effective. None of the information could be guaranteed to be accurate, but it could at least help give vets and frog owners some ideas of what to try (or not to try) and save time if a frog gets mysteriously sick.
