OpenCongress - Track bills, votes, senators, and representatives in the U.S. Congress

Remember these are proposed bills and the process in which it takes to become law. Some make it and some don't.

I was listening to the same radio show, Proof Negative, as the clipser.com thread, they told me about this site as well. Man there are a lot of good bills and BAD bills trying to be passed here in the US. How about this one for size? Kids out of HS, not sure if only male or both male and female are required to do a 5 year term in the Military! (Please see site for more details and possible misinformation, just in case I heard it wrong.). Nothing wrong with being in the military just thought it was my choice to decide if I wanted to go. There also another one for psych eval's on newly moms that want to take their newborns home from the hospital don't pass well it's up to the hospital to make an informed decision (HR20 - Post Depression, etc.) (Again please go to site, I heard this all on the radio show. I did look at the a bit, but not in detail, considering that I am about to have a baby.) OpenCongress - U.S. Congress - H.R.20 Melanie Blocker Stokes MOTHERS Act . Whether I agree or disagree on this is irrelevant. I just wanted to show yeah a cool site to see how our Government works and what they are passing under our noses. LOL Don't worry I am not going to advocate over every proposed bill, but this site will give you an idea what is actually going on in Congress instead of sitting on our butts watching stuff pass us by. PS: There are a lot of good bills too, so don't let me fool you that I am focusing only on the bad. LOL

This site if you do not know shows you who voted on it as well as the progression of the bill. You be surprised how far some of these proposed bills have come. Well have fun racking your brain on this one.
