Marc,
Thanks for providing an alternative to "the other" dart frog site. You are also doing the hobby a great service by allowing free speech without censorship or being hamstrung by excessive moderation. As I am sure you'll agree, the animals and the hobby are "bigger" than any one person or any one forum. Thanks again, and in the short time since your site has gone live....I have seen very fast growth and that is a sign that people prefer it. Cheers, Phil

His goal as well as some of the rest of us is to feel that we are apart of something wonderful by being able to express ourselves in a way we feel comfortable as long as it is respectful and factual (resources posted as needed). I get tired of other sites that want to ridicule you because you give an opinion that might not be the norm or the most popular. Or the fact that people abuse systems that are not monitored carefully or they have moderators that aren't getting their attitudes in check. It sucks to see great sites go to cr@p because people become busy and complacent with what is currently taking place allowing others to control everything that happens while you turn a shoulder to it as if you don't know what's going on. Overall, with sites like these it doesn't matter how long they have been up and running, they can always lose everything just as quick and/or as long as they have been around. I can name a number a companies that are no longer here because they are complacent with their company running themselves rather than you running it. Well anyway, I can spend an hour talking about this, but there are quite a few major sites out there and I am just talking about this in general terms. Marc has taken this site to a level that I know will be successful in the future and give others a run for the money. Let's see what other tricks are up his sleeve.
I commended Marc on several occasions on this very fact and I am glad Phil has said something again as it is needed. Just think this site is live, but he hasn't had his "Grand Opening" yet. PS: Remember freedom of speech is restricted in everything we do unless we live in a forest and no one is around. So it is nice to come to a place where I can come and post and not feel that moderators and admins are going to ream me out because I have an opinion different than their own.
