Default Hi

Hi! I just found this site yesterday and had to join.. I'm Brandon and I am brand new to Darts, my first tank is awaiting a plant delivery this week and then some frogs next month.. still deciding on which ones I have a feeling I will end up with a bunch of tanks since my first isn't completed and I am already searching craigs list to start another..
I look forward to seeing this site grow! I am glad to see a bunch of other members from the area..

Hey there,

Welcome to DFF. Are you new to keeping all herps, or just PDF's. If you've kept other animals then the learning curve to keeping PDF's isn't that hard. I am glad that you are preping the tank and getting everything ready prior to obtaining frogs, often times it is the other way around.

Again, welcome to the site, and don't be afraid to ask questions. Our objective is to help keep your frogs alive and healthy.

Marc

I appreciate everyone here. Without you, there would be no DFF. Thank you for your support.

Welcome to the board Brandon. I would start of with something simple like Leucomelous. They are fairly easy and have a nice call. Others could be, Azureus, Auratus, or some other tinc for starters. If you are getting frogs next month you may want to go ahead and get your Fruit Fly cultures established so you have a stable food source ready when they arrive. Just a few tips. Hope you enjoy your new addiction.

Thanks everyone.. I am new to Darts, but I had numerous snakes and lizards when I was younger.. Also had a Reef Tank for 4 years, hopefully some of that knowledge will help.. My wife likes the auratus and I could hopefully keep a group of them, so that may be my first choice... and the local shop had some that were a cool teal color.. I would like to get some Leucomelous or cobalt tincs for another...
