Default Just saying hello~

Hi everybody. :>

The helpful little note on the top of the page is urging me to post an introduction, so here I am. ;D My name is Hayte, I'm twenty two, and female. I tend to abuse emoticons, so I apologize in advance for that. xD I'm fairly new to the hobby (and by new I mean, I'm just starting!). I'm not usually one to join forums, but I stumbled across this place and it seems like it would actually be worthwhile to spend time here.

So yeah, hi! :D

Hi....welcome aboard.

What kind of dart frogs are you interested in?

Where are you located?

Thank you!

I'm mainly interested in Dendrobates tinctorius, but I'm also fond of Dendrobates azureus and Dendrobates ventrimaculatus.

I'm currently in the Northeastern United States.

All good choices for a beginner frog.

They are very quiet frogs, all of those - meaning their call is not loud at all. If that is a consideration.

If you are close to PA, NJ or MD.....there are quite a lot of breeders I could recommend. Pick up is more advantegeous to shipping for a few reason - chiefly bad weather and low temps.

I have quite a few different species of froglets at the moment.

No, calls aren't really a consideration. I've noticed alot of people seem to care about them, but I'm a rather quiet person myself, so I don't mind at all if the frogs are relatively quiet too.

I'm actually in CT right now, so when it comes time to actually get a frog or two, I'll have to hit you up for information! Haha, though for now I'm going to focus on gathering info and building the best vivarium I can.
