Hey, Everyone,
Today I started my terrarium for, hopefully a pair of Blue Dart Frogs. I have been researching a lot online as to their care, and I saw this site and thought it was a good idea to join. Though I've read a lot about them, I'm sure there are more people with experience on which facts are true or false. One question I would like to know is about the heating. How warm should it be in the tank? How can I safely provide heat to the tank? I've read that most dart frogs don't need a lot of heat, but they really need humidity. Some sites go and say that the light source will keep the tank warm enough. I am just not sure how reliable that is. Here is what I have: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It's a 20 long tank. That is a waterfall in the corner that has filters to keep the water clean. There is no water in it yet because I want to make sure the silicone is dry before I put any water. But does this seem good enough for 2 blue dart frogs? Thanks, Valerie |
