Hey everyone! My name is Domenic and I currently reside in Las Vegas. I became interested in dart frogs not too long ago after raising a few tadpoles I found in a pond. A dart frog expert and friend of mine let me know how to care for the tadpoles, and piqued my interest in dart frogs. I know so little about them, but hope to learn much more in the near future, and hopefully have a pair soon as well.
At the moment I own and breed all different species of finch, so I understand how easy it is to become addicted to collecting and breeding animals. I also understand the difficulty and patience it sometimes takes... I hope to own a pair of dart frogs to breed and observe for hours on end, and I hope you guys can help me out with the care of them--but we'll leave that for another topic. |

Hi Dom,
Welcome to the site. I think it's pretty kewl that you keep finches. I'd be interested in seeing some of your setups. As far as dart frogs....welcome to our addiction. These little guys are amazing and IMO the best terrarium/vivarium subject out there. They allow you to have a tiny piece of the rain forest in your own home and an always topic of discussion. I encourage you to do some homework before you just jump in. We are here to help as much as we can. Good luck and welcome to the site and the hobby.
