Default New to EVERYTHING!!!

Hello all!!!
Yes, im new, not only to this site, but to dart frogs in general. So i apologize if my words may seem novice... because they are. hahaah

So I'll be honest and put it out there that I've done maybe 2 days research on Vivariums and Dart Frogs. Thats why Im here! Previously a saltwater aquarium man (still am) I wanted to go into something a bit different. Reptiles was my first thought. But I like vibrant colors and display tanks that make you say "wow..... thats awesome!" (hence the saltwater hobby). I just moved into a new house and have a 90 gallon tank that i wanted to do something different with. So while laying in bed with my girlfriend the other day, i said to her that i wanted to put something colorful in it. Her response? Dart frogs! Bingo! That was it! So here I am now scouring the depths of the internet to find out as much information as possible on this subject.

So hello all! Expect lots of questions!!!

Hi Calizic,

Welcome to the site and the hobby. There are tons of information all over the web and in books that discuss the keeping of dart frogs. It's good to know that you have already done a couple days of homework, but it is prob going to take take a little more time than that. Read up on some of the more common species recommended for beginners (such as tincs, auratus, or leucs) and then once you decide which species you like, read up a little more on the requirements necessary for keeping successfully keepiing them comfortable. I personally love building vivariums, and keeping a terrarium or vivarium thriving and looking pleasing can be somewhat of a task in itself.

If you have any questions feel free to ask. We are help as much as we can.

I appreciate everyone here. Without you, there would be no DFF. Thank you for your support.
