Default my viv has mushrooms

I was wondering if the pros could lend some thougt I mist my viv twice a day I woke up this morning with mushrooms growing on drift wood dose this pose a problem for the frogs I can upload some pics after o get off work there long soft gray mushrooms.

no such thing as a stupid question.....

Yep...springtails eat mushrooms or more accurately the slurry produced by the decomoposition of the shroom.....they love it....not so much the raw, live mushroom,but definately the decomposing kind.

and ALL frogs love to eat springtails.

I usually have these really cool orange mushrooms that pop up every now and then. They are really pretty, but they die off usually within a few weeks after I have seen them.

mushrooms are harmless to the frogs, and provide some additional food for the springtails, they are an indicator for letting you know that your tank is beginning to become established. I usually have some in each of vivs at one point in time or another

Nothing. Fungi don't last very long inside of a frog habitat.

Default Mushrooms

I have them as well. They take about 3 days to mature and die and then a week later a new crop starts. When they get too numerous I just take tweezers and pull them out before the caps open.
